You know that feeling you get when you first hear the blues? Like when your blood remembers that it moves to a rythem. Like all your ills, discomforts, bumps, and bruises have a purpose, a sound. It is as if you can know deep in the marrow of you that your fallen soilder hopes were born, existed, and failed just to be fodder to listen to another’s gravelled voice, close your eyes and know even if you don’t have their soul you still possess yours and man can it ache.
